We’ve been cycling all these tracks over the summer in order to get fit for this event. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s an epic seven day mountain bike race that crosses the Canadian Rockies.
Last Start! It’s a noticeably greyer (and smaller) crew than the start at the top. Still, it was really nice how many people came out from the town to cheer us off. Amongst this crowd were various friends who’d had to drop out: fractured shoulder, messed up achilles, bumps on the head….
